Private German Coaching

There is no fixed number. Progress depends on your starting level, lesson frequency, self-study, and whether you live in a German-speaking environment. Research suggests A1–B2 can take anywhere from 600 to 800 classroom hours, but in practice the range is wide. With coaching you don’t waste time following a generic pace: every session is focused on your own goals. That means you only take the lessons you need—no more, no less. After one or two weeks your teacher will give you a realistic estimate based on your progress and learning style. This way you finish a level and truly reach it, instead of completing a “100-lesson course” that may not match your needs.

Normal lessons follow a fixed syllabus. Coaching is fully personalized: you set goals, keep the same teacher long-term, and focus on what matters most to you. That flexibility saves time and keeps you motivated.

Private 1:1 coaching costs €27–33 per 60-minute lesson, depending on the package size.

Groups of 2–4 people (family, friends, colleagues) pay even less per person.

Yes. Companies book individual coaching or private groups of 2–4 employees.

We cover Business German, Fachsprache for specific industries, and everyday workplace communication. Employees can also prepare for explicit situations such as meetings, presentations, client calls, or written reports.

To keep employers informed, we can provide certificates, share participation data, or even grant classroom access if needed. This way progress is transparent and aligned with company goals.

Yes. Our teachers specialize in exam prep. They provide strategies, practice tests, and personal feedback so you enter the exam confident and ready.

Absolutely. We teach all CEFR levels, from complete beginner (A1) to mastery (C2). Beginners benefit from clear structure and the security of a long-term teacher.

Yes. You can move from Business German to Exam Prep or Conversation at any time. The same teacher adjusts your lessons, so you don’t lose progress.

You can reschedule flexibly within your teacher’s calendar.

Lessons canceled less than 24 hours before the start count as completed—this protects the teacher’s time.

Yes. We provide tailored online German support for expat children and teenagers, aligned with their school curriculum and learning style. Please note that not all of our teachers specialize in teaching children. To increase the chance of finding the right teacher, it helps if you can provide flexible availability. In some cases, a waiting list may apply.

No. All lessons are pay-as-you-go. There are no contracts, hidden fees, or automatic renewals. Learn German in a flexible, self-paced way.

All lessons run live on Google Meet. For work environments we recommend asking IT to whitelist Meet, or simply joining via a private connection. Every student also receives a personal Google Classroom for materials, homework, and progress tracking. You can safely use your own Google Account, including a company Workspace login. If you don’t have one, you can create a free Google Account in seconds.

All lessons are backed up by our administration system. This allows us to see if a teacher has connection problems, is running late, or does not attend. Our team can step in quickly if needed, so you always have reliable support in the background.

Our teachers are qualified DaF (German as a Foreign Language) professionals with years of experience. They teach standard German (Hochdeutsch) at all CEFR levels and understand the needs of expats and professionals. We are also experts in exam and naturalization prep for the DACH region.

You meet your dedicated teacher, test the online setup, and assess your level by working on a couple of communicative exercises. Together you set goals and check whether the style and pace fit you. The trial is risk-free and designed to give you real value from the very first session.

Yes. We issue professional invoices for both individuals and corporate clients in Germany, Switzerland, and across the DACH region. Our invoices are fully valid for reimbursement and corporate accounting.

Because our language training is officially recognized as tax-exempt educational service in Germany, invoices are issued without German VAT.

This exemption is also accepted in Switzerland, which means companies there can use our invoices directly for employee training without complications.

No. We do not offer BAMF or Jobcenter-funded courses. Our focus is private coaching for expats, professionals, families, and companies.
